FAQs

Mitchell Family Motor Trikes Thoroughbred Motorsports Stallion Central Texas

Is the Stallion a motorcycle, a trike or a car?

To be honest, we have no idea. It’s registered with the state as a motorcycle. But, of course, it has three wheels. And a steering wheel. The question we often get is, “Do you drive the Stallion, or ride it?” We’ll leave that answer to the customer.

How long does the conversion process take?

If uninhibited, our conversion techs can build a trike in two to four days, depending on accessories. But the customer should keep in mind that we have to order parts that can take up to four weeks. If a customer is interested in having their bike ‘triked’, we suggest he or she call us and we’ll set up a time to schedule the conversion.

How many Mitchells work for the company?

Six. Aunt Kathy, Uncle Pat, Mom, Dad, my brother Justin and myself. We’ve also brought in some new people to the working family: Bobby. We didn’t make him change his name, but we certainly do think of him as family. Together the seven of us make quite a crew. Lots of hugs are given. Sometimes things get tense. But we’re family; what can you say? Give us a call or come by. We’d love to meet you and your family.
